With over 35 years in the building trades, Robert Kennedy has had “hands on” experience you just won’t find elsewhere. Starting as a master stone and brick mason’s apprentice, he advanced to carpentry due to the seasonal nature of outdoor stone work. He worked for 17 years in NYC, steadily expanding his knowledge and skills and became a restoration carpenter in historically landmarked buildings. He went on to project-manage renovations at some of the most prestigious addresses in NYC. He built houses Hawaii from foundation to roof for 13 years. These invaluable years of varied building experience have given Robert in-depth knowledge of the elements that affect a home’s structural integrity, longevity and safety. He has a love of houses, especially houses he recognizes as well built.
