Firstly, be safe, wear a mask, wear rubber gloves. Don’t be afraid of offending a client by protecting yourself.
You are NOT out of line to ask your client if they have been out of the country, where they were and how long they were there.
Use your hand sanitizer, wash, wash and wash you hands.
Bump elbows instead of shaking hands.
Remember, you’re touching numerous door knobs, faucet and toilet handles, which are not too clean to begin with. Protect yourself.
Use common sense.
